GeForce 6 Series from Nvidia

GPU market leader, Nvidia launched GeForce 6200, a new graphics processing unit (GPU), with advanced graphics. The company claims that GeForce 6 will deliver a better gaming experience on games like Far Cry and Doom 3 alongwith high definition video playback. GeForce 6200 GPUs support Microsoft DirectX 9.0 Shader Model 3.0 which is being used to develop ultra-realistic, next-generation DirectX 9.0 games. Nvidia GPUs offer UltraShadow II technology to deliver blazing speeds on next-generation, shadow-intensive games such as Doom 3. Dan Vivoli, Executive Vice President, Marketing, Nvidia, said, "With a GeForce 6200-based PC, consumers now have a compelling, cost-effective alternative to integrated graphics that delivers amazing graphics and high-definition video performance and a forward-looking 3D architecture that will future-proof their systems," he added.
