Television on your EDGE enabled phones

Mobile service provider Orange (Hutch) has launched a new service in India which enables Orange & Hutch users to watch video clips on their Enhanced Data for GSM Evolution (EDGE) enabled phones. Currently only Nokia 6230 and Nokia 3220 supports EDGE technology. But more EDGE enabled handsets will be launched shortly. There is no charge for Hutch TV but the users have to activate the GPRS service at a monthly subscription charge of just Rs.99. Orange has always been innovative and has brought facilities like Click & Print MMS, push2talk, email through GPRS and now with Hutch TV. The channels supported at present are CNBC-TV18, AXN, NDTV India, NDTV 24X7, Discovery, Sony, Zee TV, MAX, Raj TV, Nick, ETV, Animax and Trendz.
