Longhorn boasts Security

Microsoft's Longhorn which is due in 2006 will have a security which will help companies have more control by allowing or prohibiting devices that can be easily used for transferring data. As devices it also includesg Apple's popular brand iPod which is capable of holding more data. Some worry that people could use them to steal data or unleash virus attacks on business networks. Microsoft introduced an early version of this technology alongwith Service Pack 2, the security upgrade for the Windows XP operating system which completed in early August. But that system works more by "brute force," Mr Sullivan said, Microsoft's lead product manager.
