A Phone with a Hard Drive

With the technology getting cheaper and advancing in a brisk rate Samsung has come up with the world's first mobile with an in-built hard drive. Its the Samsung SPH-V5400 which comes with a 1.5 GB Hard Drive with a one-inch diameter. SPH-V5400 was first launched in Japan and Samsung claims it as the world's first hard drive phone. It will be sold in the retail market at an estimated price of $800. It will enable the user to store a wide range of different media types on it, including digital music files and photos. Though at the moment its very expensive but it can store to store over 350 MP3s recorded at 128 bits per second and it could serve as a substitute to an iPod. The SPG-V5400 has two LCD screens -- a main screen of 320 by 240 pixels, and a secondary screen of 128 by 128 pixels.s.
