Sony Walkman Bean Mp3 Player

Now Apple's got some competition. Sony has launched a new Walkman series of Mp3 players called Bean which is aimed against Apple's iPod Shuffle. The Bean has a plug to connect with PC or notebook via USB to transfer music files after which it can be hidden when idle. The Walkman Bean supports MP3 WMA, WAV and Atrac3. It has OEL-screen and an internal FM-tuner. Its battery provides up to 50 hours of continuous music playback. The Walkman Bean will be available commercially in October and will be priced between $100-$200 depending on the onboard flash memory.
