Sony PSP's Wi-Fi without WPA

More than half million units were sold within 2 days of the much-hyped Sony's PlayStation Portable (PSP). Well PSP is again in the news. This time its about its Wi-Fi capabilities. George Ou at his ZDNet blog writes about how the Sony PSP will ruin wireless LAN security in the home. PSP is not supporting Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) only Wired Equivalent Privacy(WEP) encryption. WEP is not the most secure protocol and can be easily hacked. While WPA being the Wi-Fi encryption of choice which is better than WEP. I think Sony should release a firmware which will support WPA and should offer a free update to all the users of the PSP which are not with WPA. Click here to read the main article.
