Taiwanese Trojan writer arrested
30-year old, Wang An-ping, a Taiwanese Trojan writer was arrested by the Taiwan police. He admitted to authoring the Trojan code to steal the information on government-owned computers. Wang told the police that he developed the Trojan for commercial basis but later posted the code for free on some Chinese-language hacking sites. The Trojan was known as the "Peep Code", which was disguised as a game program. It had been developed in two different trjoans. The first one recorded keystrokes made on a computer and sends them back to the Trojan writer. The second trojan was more powerful which enables the Trojan writer to take control of the whole computer.
